At the root of all suffering as we established is sin and evil. Sometimes the good is hard to see. Only in Christ do we have a God who is loving enough to suffer with us. The question is an old and venerable one: If God is good, and God is all-knowing, and God is all-powerful, then why is there so much pain and suffering in the world?
